3M Black Polyester Film Electrical Tape 1318-1B, is a black colored industrial grade 2.5 mil tape constructed with a polyester film backing mated to a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive. This product is used for wrapping coils, capacitors, wire harnesses, transformers, shaded pole motors and fractional horsepower motors. Designed and constructed for demanding industrial usage, this product resists flagging and solvents which allows for usability even when cleaning solvents and mineral oil are present. This product also exhibits good wet grab, an excellent shelf life, smooth unwinding and a printable backing.

Polyester Film Tape with Acrylic Pressure-Sensitive adhesive

3M 1318 Tape is a polyester film tape with acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. It has excellent flagging resistance and solvent resistance, make it well suited for applications where cleaning solvents and mineral oil are present. It consists of materials that are represented in many UL Recognized Insulation Systems and has a UL 130ÃÂ°C temperature rating. It offers good wet grab, excellent shelf life, smooth, even unwind and is suitable for painting.
