Looks like a really nice string set for the price.So far I have only used the G string. I put it on a cheap student fiddle which was weak and whiny on the bass side, and the steel string livened it up and gave it a better sounding bass response. It gets along well with the synthetic D, A, and E strings and now the fiddle has a more balanced sound across all strings.
