Iâve been writing with fountain pens for over 50 years and spending lots of money for unusual or pretty pens that write well, smoothly. So I was somewhat skeptical when I saw the extremely reasonable price of this pen. But I am so glad I took a chance! This pen is beautiful and itâs actual wood, as verified by my husband who is a carpenter. In fact, heâs tryout to get me to give him the beautiful wood case it can be stored in since I have a pen holder case. And the added bonus â six cartridges for use when you donât want to use bottled ink (converter included). But hereâs what put a smile on my face: 3 blue in addition to 3 black ones! Iâve never received any other color than black from other manufacturers! And never more than one cartridge!And the most important part, this pen writes as smoothly as my other more expensive ones. I just wanted to let others know just what an incredible value this pen is. Oh, and did I mention that the instructions (even though I didnât need them) were some of the most clearly written Iâve yet to encounter, and very complete.Excellent buy!
