Ecotex DC Pink Textile Dual Cure Screen Printing Emulsion Pint -:our long-term commitment to exceeding customer expectations is the driving force behind our success. This was the first emulsion I ever used, so not much to compare here. I did do a lot of research into various emulsions and which one would be the most forgiving for my situation (I'm a hobbyist and use the sun for exposure). I had read enough about using emulsion to know in how many ways things can go wrong (film positives not dark enough, over or under-exposure etc). I made sure I mixed the diazo extremely well, used a yellow bug light in a dark room etc. It was also my first time using a scoop coater to add to the challenge (one coat on each side, but even my messed up, unevenly double-coated screens came out great)I'm happy to say that to my surprise, I consistently have had great results with my non pro set up. I have exposed 156, 180, 200, and 230 mesh and have gotten great detail and no problems whatsoever with washout. After exposure, I just soaked both sides with sprayer, wait and slowly start washing out. I didn't have a pressure washer, just a garden hose with adjustable nozzle in my shower and found even the smallest details to wash out easily without high pressure.I have used both plastisol and water based ink without problems, but again I only print a few prints, not production runs, to know how this emulsion holds up.Reclaiming screens was easy with the Emulsion remover. Just follow directions.Too bad emulsion doesn't have a longer shelf life after mixing.max 55% off, ranking top3,los angeles mallEcotex DC Pink Textile Dual Cure Screen Printing Emulsion Pint -

Ecotex DC-PINK is the ultimate Dual-Cure Textile Emulsion. This product is compatible with all ink systems. It is highly resistant to solvent, UV, Plastisol, amp; Short run Water Based inks. Before use, Diazo must be added and allowed to activate emulsion. It’s easy, just see Diazo for simple Instructions. Once the Diazo has been mixed it is ready for use. Apply to clean, degreased, dried screen with a scoop coater. Be sure to use appropriate application techniques. Reclaiming Ecotex DC-PINK is easy with Ecotex Emulsion Remover.
NOTE: This emulsion comes with a bottle of Diazo.

Key Characteristics:
Always use distilled water to mix the Diazo sensitizer.
Keep in a cool area, emulsion will break down much faster in heat. Keeping emulsion in a fridge can help to give a slightly extended shelf life, however, emulsion that has gotten to the point of freezing will no longer work properly and must be replaced.
Keep the emulsion lid on tight to preserve air and light leaks.
Gently mix the emulsion each time before use to help extend the life.
For long runs over 1,000 shirts – use Ecotex Emulsion Hardener to extend the life of your stencil.
To ensure best results, date your emulsion once mixed and keep an extra container on hand once the emulsion is about to expire*

Shelf Life:
+12 months
