I have Copic and Ohuhu alcohol markers and I like these more, which is saying something. The caps are secure but not so tight that I struggle with them. I have had no ink splatter because I am able to pull the caps off straight without hitting the brush tip that causes the splatter. The colors are very nice and blend well. The extremely light colors can be used as a base as don't seem to darken with repeated layers. The brush nibs are stiffer but I like that more, not less. They have a triangular shape, which I thought I would hate, but I've found them just as comfortable to use. The case comes with an insert to keep the markers straight and the addition of a white gel pen and a pencil is also appreciated. As an FYI, I would suggest laying the bag on its back for about 10 minutes before you use them to distribute the ink well.
